Monster

Days ago I realized I’ve been building web thingies since before 2000, back then I did not own a computer so I had to use shared computers/terminals at university to learn how to create cool things. At that time my only computing device was a 32KB calculator (HP 48G), that need of coding in between breaks or with limited time helped me to type fast and to think on the fly or before sitting and writing actual code.

So I started a new blog for future coders, the idea of that blog is to share quick and simple guides to begin with modern technologies, without much computing power required while also skipping the long (and sometimes unnecessary) learning curve. The focus is on getting things up and running quickly, giving anyone the chance to try it out, to change and to break things, so people can learn and have fun.

Why “monster” you may ask? The word derives from Latin monstrum, meaning “a thing that evokes fear and wonder” so the blog is a challenge for anyone into coding or new technologies to think differently, to be different: a monster in that sense, that evokes wonder, amazement, admiration.

So here is where I’m moving tech/coding articles then, I hope you enjoy it!
